On the Journal are published the AIAF stands and contributions by lawyers, academics, judges, experts in psycho social disciplines and mediators.
The AIAF 'was set up in Rome on February 2, 1993 and is structured in regional sections, which in turn have territorial sections coinciding with the constituency offices of the courts. It carries out activities of study of legislation and case law, and promotes requests for legislative reform of family and juvenile law , substantive and procedural law, in order to incorporate the needs of people and give full recognition to civil rights in our country.
For years, it has been fighting for a reform of the proceedings relating to the matter of family and children, for a judgment with only one rite, lean and fast, before a single specializing judge, and therefore for the establishment of specialized sections of the ordinary court . Over almost twenty years AIAF organized conferences, courses, seminars and study meetings. It played continuously in a spirit of service an activity of training and professional development for lawyers in the field of family law and juvenile law, and has fought to ensure citizens a defence and qualified legal aid, based on the recognition of the specialization and the constant update.
